Network Certification

Prevailing Solutions

Certification and Network Warranty

Prevailing Solutions recommends that all newly installed or upgraded structured networks be tested and certified to the appropriate standards. Cat6, Cat6a, OM3 and OM4 Fiber Networks can each be tested and certified as having achieved the intended level of performance. Upon completion of the installation of a Structured Network project, Prevailing Solutions provides results of testing in readable PDF format as well as in the native electronic file format of the testing device. Results are saved as part of the “As-Built” documentation and drawings provided by Prevailing Solutions.










Once certified by Prevailing Solutions, the structured network may be warranted by the network products manufacturer for a period of up to 25 years. This is added peace of mind for our customers and is a further endorsement of the quality and performance of a Structured Network that is installed by Prevailing Solutions.
